Soft starter for asynchronous motors

The AE-technology soft start and braking device, the AE-P50 series, controls the voltage change and provides smooth start-up and shutdown of three-phase asynchronous motors with a squirrel-cage rotor from 15 to 220 kW.

The device is designed for use in the structure of mechanisms for which trouble-free operation, ease of installation and management, ease of commissioning and minimization of acquisition costs are the most important requirements

The AE-P50 device from AE-technology contains a complete set of motor protection functions and ensures that all start-up parameters are kept within safe limits. The smooth start (acceleration) characteristic thus obtained makes it possible to avoid engine overheating, the appearance of peak (shock) loads in the power supply network, and also to significantly extend the service life of the equipment by eliminating sharp jerks of the mechanical part of the drives.

• Management of the three phases
• Does not have a built-in bypass contactor
• Motor control by linear law throughout the period of acceleration and braking
